RNS802 SoC

The RNS802 is a 3GPP-compliant 5G/4G PHY SoC for integrated and disaggregated small cell RAN architectures.

The RNS802 uses the RANsemi Full PHY software, which supports a Small Cell Forum (SCF) FAPI interface to partner L2/L3 software running on NPU over the PCIe interface and connects to partner RFICs over the JESD204B interface.

RNS802DB Development Board

The RNS802DB is a flexible 5G NR/LTE development platform for evaluating the RNS802 for NR and LTE small cell use cases. The board contains an RNS802 connected to an NXP LS1046A NPU and an ADI ADRV9029 RF transceiver. The RF signals are accessible via SMA connectors.

Complete board documentation and design files are available to facilitate our customer’s board designs.

Board Support Package software and NR PHY demo software are available for evaluation.

RANsemi Full PHY Software

RANsemi licenses the following 3GPP-compliant carrier-grade PHY software and support for the RNS802

SoC as binary or source code:

  • NR PHY
  • LTE PHY
  • Dual mode NR/LTE PHY

The software meets the relevant SCF FAPI specifications and includes Network Monitor Mode capability.
