RANsemi featured in UK Government announcement on India trade
RANsemi has been featured in the UK Government’s latest UK–India trade and investment announcement.
The GOV.UK release, published on 12 October, highlights RANsemi’s strategic partnership in India as a potential export opportunity worth over £100 million over the next five years. The partnership aims to expand the reach of British-developed 5G Open RAN semiconductor devices and deepen UK–India cooperation in advanced communications infrastructure.
The announcement accompanies a ministerial and mayoral trade mission to India that followed India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026. It highlights commercial opportunities across the UK, building on the UK–India Free Trade Agreement signed in July 2025 and now in force.
RANsemi participated in the UK trade delegation to IMC in New Delhi, organised by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade. The event provided networking opportunities to strengthen existing customer and partner relationships and develop new connections.
Neill Young, VP Business Development at RANsemi, said: “India Mobile Congress gets stronger year on year, and this one was particularly productive for us. We had promising discussions with customers and partners around integrated small cells, femtocells and non-terrestrial networks. India continues to offer growing opportunities for RANsemi and we look forward to building on this momentum.”
